Effluent filter screens are used to increase the life of septic system by blocking solids from entering the septic field. They are the best investment available for protecting percolation areas. Effluent filters significantly improve septic tank efficiency and dramatically reduce the risk of sewage ponding in your garden due to clogged drain fields. Effluent filters help protect the environment by reducing the Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) organic matter by approx. 30% and suspended solids by approximately 70%.
